For the week of Dec. 18 - 22

Merry Christmas! We will be having school Mon. - Wed. of this week with Thurs. and Fri. will be the beginning of our Christmas break. Classes will resume on Tues., January 2.

6th Grade MS Word
We will be working on Christmas assignments this week.

Keyboarding
7th/8th will be the only grades meeting for class this week. You'll be completing the self-test from Lesson 8.

8th Grade History
We'll be discussing Christmas around the world! Our Christmas party will take place the last two hours of the day on Wed. Don't forget your food item and gift for your Secret Santa.

10th Grade Computers
You'll finish up your Christmas PP presentation on Tuesday and presenting it in class on Wed. You will be joining us for the Christmas party the last 2 hours on Wed. Don't forget your food item and gift for your Secret Santa.

For the week of Dec. 11 - 15

The LCS Christmas musical is Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. On Wednesday, students in grades 3 - 6 will be going to the Community Congregational Church to sing at the Community Christmas brunch from 10:15 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Lunch will be served to students before coming back to school. At noon that day, students in grades 6 - 10 will be going to Brighton to see the movie The Nativity. For students not attending the movie, they will be picked up from school after lunch.

6th Grade MS Word
You will be completing various assignments using skills learned in class. There will be no class on Wednesday due to the movie.

Keyboarding
6th, 7th, and 8th grades will be working with the letters O, W, P, and Q.

8th Grade History
We will be putting Socrates on trial this week! More info will be presented in class on Monday. Current Events are due on Friday.

10th Grade Computers
We will finish up our unit on plagiarism and you will be assigned your final PowerPoint presentations. Class on Wednesday will end at 12:00 p.m. so you can attend the movie.
